Sandi Lou Thompson

November 5, 1943 – February 22, 2026
Obituary of Sandi Lou Thompson
IN THE CARE OF

Lambert Funeral Home

Sandra Lou "Sandi" (Oliver) Thompson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, in Granite Bay, California. She was 82 years old.

Born on November 5, 1943, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Ellis Ray Oliver and Mattie Eloise Cunningham, Sandi grew up with a strong sense of family and faith that would guide her throughout her life. She cherished her roots and carried the values instilled in her by her parents into every aspect of her life.

Sandi married the love of her life, Glen Douglas Thompson Jr., with whom she shared 50 anniversaries. Together they built a life centered around love, family, and faith. Sandi was a devoted mother to her daughter Terri L. Martin (Robert Martin) and stepdaughter Michele R. Accaria. She was also a proud grandmother to Ashley Ross (Andrew Ross), Christine Martin, Alexandra Conder, William Martin, and Angalina Accaria. Her legacy extended to the next generation with two great-granddaughters, Annabelle Ross and Alison Ross. Sandi’s family brought immense joy to her life; she considered them her greatest accomplishment. She is also survived by her brother David Oliver and his wife Pat Oliver, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her kindness and warmth. Sandi was predeceased by her father Ellis Ray Oliver, mother Mattie Eloise Cunningham, and stepson Glen D. Thompson III.

Sandi had a deep connection with God that shaped much of her life. She found joy in singing in church choirs or listening to gospel music that uplifted her spirit. Her faith was a cornerstone of who she was—a source of strength and comfort for herself and those around her. A woman of many talents and passions, Sandi enjoyed genealogy research as she delved into the stories of those who came before her. She loved crafting beautiful creations with care and skill. Baking was another passion that brought smiles to those fortunate enough to enjoy the fruits of her labor. Traveling allowed Sandi to explore new places while creating cherished memories with loved ones.

Above all else, Sandi treasured spending time with family and friends. Whether it was sharing stories over coffee (or wine) or celebrating milestones together, she made every moment special through her warmth and generosity. Sandi’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May the love she shared continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Martin's home.
