Nov. 23, 1970 - Mar. 1, 2016 Rio Linda. Janie (Sarah) Andrews passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 25 years, Chris Andrews; her sons Christopher, Nickolas, & Stephen, her sister (Elisa) and brother (Matthew); her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many loving family and friends. Janie retired from Sacramento County after 22 years of service as an Assessment Technician with the Assessor's Office. Her life was dedicated to her sons and their love for sports. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends. A viewing will be held on March 9 from 4 - 8pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville. A Catholic service will be held on March 12 at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1951 North Avenue, Sacramento. A Celebration of Life will follow the service in the hall next to the church. Flowers can be sent to both locations. Yellow is her favorite! She will always be our Sunshine.
