

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Edward John Madden and Alice Margaret Madden.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Kaye (Denton); his children, son Dan (Sonia), son Matt (Kim), and daughter Lisa; his grandchildren, Travis (Misty), Sophia, Lauren, Roxanne, Melanie, and Jackson; his great-granddaughter, Olive Ann; and his siblings, Larry (Bette), Ann, Mary, Jim, and Jane (Ed).
Tom cherished the love of his family and friends and was known for his warm presence and genuine kindness. He had a deep appreciation for woodworking, sports, golf, and traveling, both within the United States and internationally.
A man of dedication and accomplishment, Tom graduated from Idaho State University in 1967. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he built a successful career with Pfizer, where he worked for 32 years and earned numerous accolades. Among his many achievements, he was honored as Man of the Year in 1972 and Person of the Year in 2001.
Tom’s life was marked by hard work, integrity, and a deep commitment to those he loved. He will be remembered for his strength of character, his accomplishments, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.
We welcome all to join us for the military service at the National Cemetery in Dixon, CA, at 11:30 a.m.
