Born in San Francisco, California, to Thomas and Margaret Meyers, Thomas Glenn Meyers Jr. spent his childhood years as a military child. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served during the Vietnam War. After the Army, he spent his entire career with the Southern Pacific Railroad, where he was a machinist.
He was an avid outdoorsman, and on his days off, you could find him hunting, fishing, and camping. Additionally, he was a Freemason, and he became a Chaplain. He really loved being part of the Masons’ brotherhood. Tom was also a lifelong Dodger fan.
