Warren Alan Bostick, long-time resident of Lincoln, CA passed away unexpectedly on March 19 in Roseville, CA. He was 75 years old. Warren was born in San Francisco, CA November 19, 1942 to Dr. Warren L. Bostick and Virginia Lee Bostick. He was a graduate of the San Rafael Military Academy and served in the United States ARMY National Reserve. He married Teresa
(Terri) Salas on August 3, 1974 and was the proud father of three sons and one daughter.
Warren retired from Pacific Bell and continued to work in the telephone industry as a manager and project coordinator. An avid outdoorsman, he moved to Lincoln in 1976 to take advantage of the diverse wildlife and to start his own working farm. Over the years Warren raised cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens and enjoyed working with his children through Future Farmers of America and 4H. He was a dedicated public servant and served on the Placer County MAC (Municipal Advisory Committee) Board. He also acted as the lead for the Emergency Medical Team at Adventure Church for over six years.
Warren’s passion lay in firefighting and he was one of the founders of the Placer County Paige Co. 75 volunteer fire station on Nicolaus Rd in Lincoln. For 35 years Warren dedicated countless hours as a volunteer EMT and first responder. He worked tirelessly to build strong relationships with his community and neighbors and served as a mentor and instructor to generations of firefighters. He achieved the rank of Captain and the respect and admiration of everyone who knew him. Warren received countless awards and recognition for his heroic deeds throughout his career including being named Placer County Volunteer Firefighter of the year.
Warren is survived by his wife of 44 years Terri and their children, Bradley (Andrea), John (Sara), Mike (Melissa) and Lynsey, grandchildren Audrey, Jack, Luke, Beau, Jordyn, Kamryn, Ashley, Anthony and Brother Bruce (Kathy) Bostick.
Services will be held at Bayside at Adventure Church on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 10am.
