Afrodita "Dee" Okonowski

Afrodita "Dee" (Sekulidis) Okonowski, age 91, of Roseville, MI passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at her home surrounded by those that loved her. Dee was born February 20, 1933 in Macedonia to Antonios & Ioanna Sekulidis.

Dee is survived by her children; Kim, Karen & Gary True, her grandchildren; Tyler, Ava, Christian & Catie, her great granddaughter Nova and her siblings; Donna & George (Patty) Sekulidis and her nieces; Grace & Caroline. Dee was preceded in death by her husband Richard Okonowski, her parents, her son Jeff True and her daughter-in-law Kathy True.

Dee was Greek Orthodox. She loved her children very much, so much so they all separately believed to be her favorite. She was a giving person, she spent her life being a caretaker to all the children in her life, and she loved her Job.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 2-8 PM with a Memorial Service at 5 PM Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066.
