Albert ‘Sweeny’ Pomerico, Jr., age 79 of Warren, passed away December 4, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Marie for 53 years. Loving father of Mary (Wilson) Burgess, Liz (Michael) Stacer, Angie (Terry) Jared and Barbara (Ron) VanValkenburg. Proud grandfather of Nathen, Scott, Joshua, Christopher, Ethan, Jessica, Daniel, Christopher, Lexi and great-grandfather of Allison, Grace and Ava. Dear brother of Mary Laturie. Al loved duck hunting and playing cards with family and friends. His visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Please share a memory of Al at his online guest book.
