Me and Al didn't talk too much last few years but I loved him with all my heart I always told him he was my favorite brother-in-law but that was because he was my only brother-in-law I can't believe it's been 2 years since he's been gone I I miss him and I know my sister really misses him he was her whole life and she was his whole life I love you Al and I miss you too I'm sorry I didn't talk to you as much as I should have but you was my favorite brother-in-law love you miss you

It is so hard to say good bye to a life long friend.  I have to smile every time I think about all the good times we had , you  and Mick, me and Tony.  I remember one of our nights we may have been drinking brandy and coffee,  playing cards, and in the morn my car was on your lawn!  Someone picked it up and put it there.  We had a good laugh over that.  You will be missed so very much, Al.  Loved you big guy, Cher


Oh where to start although I haven’t been around him in forever but I do remember all the camping and fishing trips I remember always hanging out with everyone while the adults played cards all night I also remember uncle AL accusing me of stealing hubcaps off his car although to this day I maintain my innocence love you uncle AL you will be missed 

He was the best brother in law you could ever have cause he was the only one I ever had. He's put a few guys I went out with in there place broke his hand on one, but he and my sister was always there for me. We had no father to speak of but he was there for us. When we was all young and married we would go to their house for breakfast micki made the best biscuits and gravy every Sunday. I hadn't seen him in a few years but he knew I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him always but he knew I loved him. In my heart he will be forever I love you Al. I will miss the time we lost out on. You say hi to Mike for me.

You were caring and thoughtful and were not afraid to put me in my place when I needed it.
