Alice Jean Larsh, age 91, passed away on July 5, 2026. Born July 6, 1934, Alice will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for a life marked by steady strength, faithful devotion, and generous care for others.
Throughout her life, Alice was a true Christian whose compassion showed most clearly in the way she gave of herself. She was a caretaker to the needy and the sick, offering comfort with a quiet selflessness and a dependable presence that made others feel safe and supported. That same reliability guided her home life as she took care of all of her family, loving them fully and placing their needs close to her heart.
Alice found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures. She loved gardening, tending to what she planted with patience and care, and she also enjoyed shopping. In all she did, her strength was evident, not in loud displays, but in the consistent way she showed up, carried burdens, and remained steadfast.
Alice is survived by her grandchildren: Richard (Stephanie) Larsh, Renee (Devin) Soave, Anthony (Cristine) Larsh, and Debbie (Mike) Harvey; great grandchildren: Adeline, Norah, Alexandra, Jessica, Tyler, Jacob, Zachary, Isabella, Connor, Mike, and Nicholes; great great grandchildren: Myles and Bennett; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband David Larsh. Her children: Richard Larsh and Jeffery Larsh; parents: William and Elsie Silvey; and siblings: William (Shirly) Selvey, Lois Futch, Joyce (Lester) Thacker, and Evelyn (Dean) Buck.
Visitation will be held at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan, on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service at 1pm. Alice will be laid to rest following the services at Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Twp, Michigan.
