I worked with Mike for many years at Detroit Edison. He was a fine man with whom I had many good conversations. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in the peace of our Lord, Mike.

We were proud to live next door to Mike and Sandy in 1981 and get to know and love the Orozco family. Through the years we have shared many great memories and watched the family grow with the love and wisdom demonstrated by Mike and Sandy as they raised such thoughtful and loving children! Mike's sense of humor was always appreciated and he will missed by all of us lucky enough to know him!

About a year or so ago, Dad started giving the grandkids a $5 bill when he saw them - it was so special because it showed he cared and it was a unique thing he just wanted to do.
This Christmas he gave special jewelry that personally expressed his love with engravings and poems.
He also sent random packages to us, since we live 2 hours away... Hot Wheel cars for Micah he'd picked up at the grocery store's check-out line, or notes to the girls congratulating the on their school successes or just saying he loves them.
These are sweet ways he blessed us by reaching out with the love in his heart towards us.... His original expressions of being a father and grandfather to this family.
