

She was born April 27, 1934 in Detroit MI to George and Marie (Abele) Claeys. She was predeceased by her husband, James Huck Jr., after 56 years of Marriage.

She is survived by her siblings Mary Maddelein, Sharon Beshke, John Claeys and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Carol was an active member in many Church and Community Organizations. Carol was a Catechist, a Bereavement Minister, a Stephens Ministries Instructor, a member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society. She was a member of the Friends of the Roseville Public Library since 1984 and served as their President for 14 years. She was a member of the City of Roseville Economic Development Commission from 1981 to 1990. Carol continued volunteering while living at American House; running the Chapel, the weekly Bingo and taking care of the Library, among other things. She received many awards and accolades for her community service, including being named a Macomb County Outstanding Volunteer of 1993.
Carol was a graduate of Dominican High School and Sacred Heart Major Seminary.
