

Carl was born November 9, 1944 in Thomasville, Georgia. He spent his entire life living and working in the Metro Detroit area and most recently in his home in Roseville.
Carl served honorably in the U.S. Military as a medic during the Vietnam War. He worked in the manufacturing sector in multiple positions at several companies such as Detroit Center Tool, Utica Enterprises and most recently Easom Automation Systems.
Carl was an avid fisherman, golfer and bowler but enjoyed time spent with his family and friends most of all.
Carl was the beloved husband of Nancy. Dear step-father of 7, grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 4. He was the loving brother of Ron (Marcia) and Arlene (the late Norm) Sylvester. He is also survived by his 3 loyal dogs.
Visitation for Carl will be held on Friday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville. A funeral service will held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will be Monday at 10:00 am in Cadillac Memorial Gardens, East in Clinton Township. Memorial Donations are appreciated to the Michigan Humane Society.
