I worked with Corey at Shoney's in Clemson.  He was dearly loved.  Such a sweet spirit.  I am so sorry to hear about his passing.

Greekj@hotmail.com yeah my name is James and I just wondering if this the same Corey Gooden that lived on Barbara that a brother named Mark I used to go to school with them and hang around with them and we are young kids I just wanted the same Corey they used to have a dog little white poodle that bit my leg if that's the same one mother was a nurse

Happy to say I knew him! He volunteered when the MDA camp in NY needed male volunteers. He connected with all the campers and volunteers and added to the fun of the week!

As a nurse we are trained to observe and assess. Some folks are a difficult read. From the moment I met him, Corey was as straightforward, honest and giving as a man could be. He would do anything for children, or people. Truly an honor to call him friend. May God be with him and his family. I will miss you my friend.

Went to grade school and was in scouts with Corey, 28 years later he found me on FB. While catching up on life, I mentioned to Corey about the MDA camp for children I volunteered for. Corey said he would like to volunteer as well. Corey signed up, made many friends, including his camper Paul!  Corey also volunteered for the adult camp and we were asked to attend a Camp in NY that needed male volunteers!   So we flew to NY and made new friends. We covered 3 camps that summer!  Corey volunteered a second year for both MDA and VAD camp. That following November, Corey's camper Paul, passed away!   I'm sure that Corey is now with Paul and Paul is now taking care of Corey!  I couldn't have picked a better friend to share that experience with!  Thank you old friend!

I am sorry and saddened to hear of Corey's passing.  I'm sending my prayers and love to the all of the family.  I haven't seen Corey in many years but I do remember him when he was growing up and some of the get to

I'm am very saddened to hear of Corey's Passing.  We went to high school together .  We had not seen each other in years  but with the help of Facebook we messaged a couple times.  He was a good man and will be missed ,  prayers for his family and friends.
