David was a deeply family-oriented man who leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and extraordinary athletic talent. David’s love for sports was undeniable, but baseball was his true passion. More than just a dedicated fan, he was an elite player who left an indelible mark on the game, setting records that reflected his talent. Despite his athletic achievements, David’s greatest devotion was to his family. He anchored every gathering with his presence. He never missed a family function, serving as a reliable pillar of support, love, and joy for those he held dear. Some of the family's most cherished moments were spent gathered together outside, enjoying bonfires and sharing laughter, stories, and warmth in his company. Those close to David will also fondly remember his softer, lighthearted side. This was perfectly captured by the dedicated care he gave to his uniquely named beta fish, Feisty, bringing a smile to everyone who knew him.
Beloved husband of the late Sandra. Loving brother of Sherry and Elizabeth. Proud uncle to Gregory, Jennifer, Jamie, Matthew, Danielle and Kelly and great-uncle to many. Dearest nephew to Doreen, Patricia and Mike. Lifelong best friend to Jim “Kid” Bales and the late Rodney “Ron”. He will also be missed by many cousins. David was a loving and devoted Godfather to Sherry, Greg, Matthew and Robert. David was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Bonnie; his brothers Jerry, Wallace and Darryl.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kaul Funeral Home of Roseville. Please share a memory with the family on David’s online guestbook.
