Dawn Marie Resop (nee: Giles), was born on January 24, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Clinton Township by her now deceased grandparents, Virginia and Charles Solesby. Dawn worked as a Hi-Lo Driver at Venture Industries in Clinton Township. She met Dave Resop in 1990 through an introduction from her sister Candie. They married on April 5, 1991 in Roseville, where they have made their home since. As a wife and mother, along with Dave, Dawn raised her sons Joshua and Justin. Dawn is also survived by sisters, Michelle Giles, Candie (Chad) Bland, Linde (Kenny) Boron; brother, Michael (Pam) Giles; mother, Linda Buford; aunts and uncles; Dave's three sisters and two brothers; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dawn's passion was rescuing animals of all types and in her spare time enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, especially those picturing wolves. She was giving, caring and known to help anyone in need.
