If there was anyone who deserves a special place in heaven, it was Dorothy. If the world 2was full of Dorothy's, there would be a true peace on earth. 
Dorothy was my grandmother, Caroline Raleigh's, niece.
It's been a very long time since we last spoke and I was saddened to learn of her passing.

Dottie was my mother's best friend from high school and was adopted into our family before i was even born.  She was a wonderful addition with her welcoming  smile and  bright blue eyes. She often  said she and mom were "unlikely" friends   but that friendship lasted until the Lord took Ginny 25 yrs ago.
(I think  this message should be written in cursive in very tiny letters.
If you have been blessed with Dottie's letters .. you know why I  say that.)
Dottie would not want us to make a fuss over her passing.  She would say she is with the Lord now and we shouldn't be sad.
She loved to read,  loved Big Boys coffee, brunch at Andary's  and to  tell stories of her youth and her former  students.
Dottie LIVED her faith every day wihout hesitation. She would share anything she had if you needed it. She was the most selfless person i have ever known.  
Dottie I  will miss sitting with you in the yard talking about the grape vines.  I love you.

Dottie Kethe was not only my grandmother's best friend, but she was part of our family.  She spent  many a holiday with us, and watched all of us grow up. She was an ever- present part of our childhoods. 

My cousins and siblings and I attended Vacation Bible School at St. Peter's with her in the summers until we were old enough to go along and help out. 

I never heard her utter a negative word or a complaint about anyone or anything. She was a pure white light in an often dim and dreary world. She touched so many lives, and blessed so many people. 

Each year when I make Mrs. Kethe's (her mother's) butter cookies, and hang that beautiful Precious Moments angel she gave me on my Christmas tree, I with think lovingly of her,  and the great gift she was to my family, and to the world. 

Rest well, dear Dottie. Hug my grandma for me.

Oh Dottie. You will be so missed. You were the sweetest, kindest soul on earth! Heaven just gained a beautiful Angel! 
I’m sorry we weren’t there for your funeral. We only learned of your passing today. Please know, sweet, sweet lady, that you we were the best of friends to my grandparents and our families. We love you and until we meet again. See you in Heaven. Love, Kathleen Gilbertson and family

Dorothy Kethe taught me to read and perform basic mathematics in the 1st and 2nd grades. Her most precious gift to me was reaching me to sing alto in the choir. It was a pleasure and one I recall fondly these many years later. Too, I have a handwritten recipe for her famous rich coffer cake, served at many  church and home visit meals

May Miss Kethe be singing with, if not leading,  the Angel Band after her glorious and fanfare welcome to God and heaven!

Ms. Kethe was a wonderful woman and as dedicated a teacher as I’ve ever known. One of my fondest memories of her, was weekly “Winnie The Pooh” readings and the wonderful honey and crackers that followed them.☺️

To this day, I think of her every time I share a Pooh bear story or watch a Pooh movie with my children or grandchildren now! What a blessing she was! Thank you God for sharing her with us.

Miss Kethe was my first grade teacher. Although strict, she was very loving and encouraging. She always remembered me no matter how many years had gone by. I so appreciated that. Go with God Miss Kethe and look down on all of your loving students until we see you again.  ❤️

Dear Dorothy, you were such a good friend to my Mother, your cousin, Loraine Frohriep. We just read your last letter written to her only two weeks ago. We always read together the Psalm by Psalm book you gifted her for her 90th birthday. Jesus knew it was time for you to go home and receive your rest. You will be sorely missed. You are dearly loved and fondly remembered by so many. To God be the Glory for your life of service to Him and those who knew you. Rest in peace dearest Dorothy.

I remember Miss Kethe when I was a student at Immanuel Lutheran School all these years ago! I was in her first grade class way back in 1968. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy's family during this very difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Ms. Kethe.  She taught my Father, John E. Baziluik, Aunt Sue Ann Baziluik and Uncle James (Jimmy) Baziluik at Immanuel Lutheran School.  She would visit with my Grandmother, Bertie Baziluik when she came to town and they all spoke so highly of her.  She touched a lot of lives and will live on in the memories of those she left behind.
