Gary D. Hibner

Gary D. Hibner, age 75 of Roseville, passed away October 7, 2013. Beloved husband of Janet “P.J.”. Loving step-father of Geri Finley and Kim (Kurt) Hubbarth. Also survived by siblings Nancy Hill of IA, Richard (Joyce) Wagaman of TN, Suzy (Rick) Baublitz of PA, Peggy (Eric) Beard of PA, Lynda (Steve) Racer-Hossler of PA and Robin (Buddy) Barton of PA. Predeceased by parents Welma Wagaman and Murray Hibner; wife, Christina Hibner; siblings, Barbara Hibner of NE and Robert “Bo” Wagaman of PA. Gary grew up in the Gettysburg, PA area and joined the Army in 1954, retiring as master sergeant E9 in 1974. He then retired from the Pentagon in 1987 and worked at TACOM in Warren, MI. After living all over the world while in the service, he enjoyed traveling, visiting family, roller skating and sharing morning devotion readings with his wife P.J. He also enjoyed spending time with his 18 nieces and nephews and 33 great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville. Burial will take place in Hanover, PA.
