Gerald D. Schott, age 84, passed away February 7, 2013. He was proud to have been a Korean War Army Veteran and an active member at Redeemer Lutheran Church for many years. Gerald loved the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie; loving father of Gerald (Catherine) Jr., Jeffrey (Heather), Todd, Carl, Gary (Karin) Bacon, Nancy (Michael) Parker, and Melina (Michael) Dowd; devoted grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 5; foster parent of many including Jean Bacon Washburn, Sandy Paul, Loma Wilder, Christopher Ohlrich, Elizabeth Rydzewski, and Janet Edwards. Visitation Monday, Feb. 11, 2 – 9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville. Visitation will continue at Redeemer Lutheran Church, St. Clair Shores, Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Donations in his name may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Beaumont Hospice.
