Geraldine Edna Kratt, age 85, passed away on December 24, 2025. She was born on March 4, 1940, in Detroit, MI to William and Dorothy Rose. Geraldine was a fixture in the Roseville community for an incredible 65 years.
Her home was a haven of warmth and care, a testament to her giving nature. Known for her compassionate heart and unwavering dedication to her loved ones, Geraldine embodied a spirit of selfless care. For 25 years, she devoted herself to caring for her beloved husband at home. Her nurturing nature extended to her grandchildren, for whom she also provided loving care and support.
Geraldine found joy in the simple pleasures of life, with a passion for gardening and exploring local thrift stores. She cared deeply for everyone she met and, above all, loved her family unconditionally. Her kindness and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Beloved wife of the late Martin Kratt. Loving mother of Kim (Steve) Weldon, Curt Kratt, the late Sandy (Glen) Weldon and Christopher (Julie) Kratt. Proud grandmother of Corey (Rebecca) Weldon, Shannon (Trevor) Brincheck, Curtis (Dana) Kratt Jr., Kelly (Brian) Eovaldi, Katie (Jesse) Kratt, Rachael (Brenden) Weldon, Benjamin Kratt and Evan Kratt and great-grandmother of eleven. Dearest sister of Betty (Robert) Smith and the late June (Tom) Thomas.
Visitation will be on Friday January 2, 2026, from 3PM until 8PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, MI 48066. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial to take place in Kittridge Cemetery in Columbus, MI.
