My Condolences to you and your family. When someone dies it’s extremely painful and a loss.
When we lose our parents or grandparents, we lose part of our past. When we lose one of our Children, we lose part of our future.
When we lose our mate, we lose part of ourself.
Regardless of the loss, we lose a significant part of ourselves.
The silver lining is knowing that she is In better hands, in the memory and hands of our creator, loving father. Than she is with us.
DEATH IS AN ENEMY! That’s the reason why the sting hurt so bad.

Jen, I'm sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved your grandma and what a loss it must be. I also know what a long, good life she lived and how happy she must be to be back with your grandpa.

Lord God, as inevitable as death is, there is no way around the heartbreak and grief it brings. The only comfort left is knowing that our Cherished One is with You now in Heaven with a full heart and an eternal soul. This we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

To know my Grandma Jakob (Germaine) was to know love. This woman was the epitome of being kind, loving, special. I always loved surprising her on my visits to Michigan. This last visit was a special one to me because I knew it would probably be the last time I got to see her. She was doing so good that day and I will forever be thankful to God he gave me that day. Today I’m crushed. Please keep my family in your prayers and give your loved ones an extra squeeze today. Rest In Peace Grandma. Go take care of everyone up there. See you again one day. Until then watch after me. It makes me feel special to know I’m here because of you and that part of me is you. I love you forever.

For all of Germaine's family, and friends,  a sense of loss is inevitable. But It is consoling to know that such  a compassionate & loving  person will be with her husband,  and family who have passed and also beyond the struggles of this life.  With God she now lives in happiness.  Her life has been an example for us all.  Recalling Mary Alice telling me about how your Mom continued  to heal the rifts that occurred with Mary's  parents and the rest of the family. This was typical of her relationships, and why I enjoyed visiting with her.

Pass on my condolences to the rest of your family, and know I will always remember her as the beautiful person she  was - and will always be.

John, I am so sorry.  What a kind, generous soul she had. You are so lucky to have a Mom as wonderful as she was. I always felt comfortable around your Mom, she always made me feel like I was a part of the family from day 1.
