My memories of Gwen will not be the yummy cheesecake or spam muffins nor will it be how meticulously she kept her lawn and house (Gosh she must have gone crazy when she came to my messy house). My memories go much deeper than that! I can very clearly recall the first day I met her at Stacy’s graduation party. I was a nervous wreck and Dan forewarned me that she was going to “talk my ear off” and ask me a million questions and he was right, but... it helped calm my nerves. Gwen instantly became my favorite. I asked her to be a reader at our wedding and she was there with advice every step of the way through my pregnancy with Jacob! She was so genuinely happy for us! I remember moving in around the block from Gwen and Bill and they came to help me clean. Gwen promised never to come over without calling first and shared a story of how she learned her lesson on that! The first Easter after I had Noah, Gwen came over to color eggs with Jacob when I told her I was too exhausted to do it as Noah still wasn’t sleeping well at night! Gwen was just ALWAYS there from supporting me when Dan was in the hospital, to inviting me to craft fairs with she and Elaine, to cheering Noah on at his hockey games and Jacob at his band concerts to lending me jewelry in my wedding day! How am I to get along without her??? I am going to miss you so much Gwen. Thank you for being so wonderful and welcoming to me. Please know you are loved very much and you touched our hearts and lives a great deal. I know you will always still be there, though not physically, to help me out, cheer Noah and Jacob on, and guide us. You were the BEST  sister in law anyone could ask for and an angel in this earth. Gwen gave 110% to you and what she did.  It was amazing, how many coworkers cared and loved working with Gwen.  It was a privilege to be with my sister in her last few weeks of life.  I love you and will miss you dearly.  My heart is truly broken.

Although  not close, I  knew Gwen as an uplifting, caring and kindhearted person.  People like Gwen make the world a better place and l'm thankful to have known her.

I was so sad to hear of Gwens passing. Our daughter, Nancy was one of Gwens best friend.  They had a beautiful time growing up together. Gwen was always so sweet and caring.  She will be missed.

I was fortunate to have the privilege of working with Gwen for 30+ years in the OR. She was truly amazing at her job! Gwen was also thoughtful and so kind to her fellow workers! I had the honor to talk to her a few weeks ago! It was such a joy to hear her voice and tell her how much i loved her! I know she is now resting with our Heavenly Father! Gwen was an amazing lady.  She enjoyed competing in the Armada Fair and won many blue ribbons.  Our family loved her strawberry cheesecake and her beautiful quilts.  Gwen was caring and helpful to all that met her.  She has earned her wings. 

Reliable, efficient, pleasant, loving companion.  Blessed to have you in our work team, beautifull heart. Going strait up to heaven.   

I guess I can't get hurt anymore. Gwen always took care of my team to put me back together she's earned her wings and then some I will always love you!
