Howard Mercer, age 84 of Roseville, passed away August 30, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Marie. Dear father of Shirley (Dennis) Riley and the late Danny (Mickey) Mercer. Loving grandfather of Lisa (Dan) Brandt, Dean Hamilton, Tammy (Jeff) Finn, Paul (Jamie) Stojanovski, Dana (Brian) Lehman, Deeanna (Scott) Pinegar and Danielle Mercer. Great grandfather of Shawna, Christian, Michael, Lauren, Jordan, Antonio, Danny, Joey, Olivia, Mason, Aiden and Austin. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville. Mr. Mercer will lie in state on Friday at 9:00 am until the time of his Funeral Service at 10:00 am at Gideon Baptist Church, 13899 Stephens Rd., Warren.
