It was 1 year yesterday July 4th.It was a hard day for me.Me and mom let a balloon off for you.

I don't even know where to start.  First of all, I miss you so much.  I have dreamt  about you for the last couple of nights. I enjoyed seeing you again if only for a moment.  
Before you passed I felt excluded from your life for sometime.  I would get the calls for help or bad news but never the call to join you on your outings. I was really hurt by that.
 I thought I found away past it but then I realized that it is still going on in your absence. 
It's as if I just don't belong.  You always got me past these moments in life and now I'm wondering who will. 
You told me when I lost my boys that my grief would be my own.  I did not understand what that meant at the time but I think I do now. It's sad but it is a cold hard fact of life.  You taught me the difference.  For that I am forever grateful.  I love you Dad.  Rest easy.

This was a happy day. We took you to the Doctors them to Harsens Island to eat at Sans Souci Bar. You loved going there to eat and see your friend Sam. Now we are lost without you. It is so empty here. I love you and miss you so much.

Dad, this is my favorite picture of you.  Kinda hard to see but I love it. Me and mom went to Pat O’Briens  today like we always do and was sad you weren’t with us.  But we sat at the same table. So you were with us in spirit.  Thank you dad for giving all of us more then you had given to you. Xoxo always.

When ever I walked into Nanny's house, Guy would be sitting in the seat nearest to the stairs. I say "Hey Guy," and he would reply "Hey Girl." ( Which always made me smile. ) It was really sad when he became to sick to sit in the living room and say "hey." On Sunday mornings Nanny would make breakfast, Guy would sit across from me and he would say something to get Nanny riled up, ( just to tease her a little, ) and then he would grin so hugely when she would  start back at him with "Now Guy....." When we were little Guy Jr. was strict as hell, but he put up with all of the grandkids antics... and man there were A LOT of antics thanks mostly to the boys.  He would drive us on all of our family road trips, first in the giant brown van then the wagon. He always had Juicy fruit gum in the car and would listen to country music. I am thankful that Ruby was able to meet him, and that I got to say "Hey Guy." to him one last time.

Now reunited with my father and his long lost son, Terry... I wish I had Grandpa Guy in my life the whole time...I've lost out on alot, I wish I knew him better. I have always been very proud of my grandfather, he was really the only one my mother ever told me anything about, no aunts, uncle's, cousins, only Grandpa Guy. I am your oldest grandson, I will miss you. I'm very sorry me and my kids, your great grandkids, seem to have been left out due to all the bitterness. I wish you and I could have had conversations and any quality time that I could treasure for the rest if my life... I am very sorry I didn't have any control of those years. I was a child and I hope you forgive me. Rest easy and say hello to my father, I was never once able to myself. I love you and will see you again in time.

YOU WERE OUR PROTECTER, OUR STABILIZER  OUR EVERYTHING. NOPE IT WASNT EASY BUT WE DID IT ANYWAY., I DONT KNOW HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU BABY, I REALLY DONT, I FIND MYSELF LOOKING IN YOUR ROOM TO SEE IF YOU ARE OK. STILL, REST IN PEACE NOW BABY AND WITH GODS WILL

i have so meany i don't know were to start but i know of one thats stands out more then all the rest. it was back it the early to med.60s we were having a family  get to gather.at moms house when me terry don and jim went down the street and were playing were they build 3 new houses then we got the idea to just see if we could break all the new glass and so we did all 3 houses as we finished the last and was walking out the door the police were standing their so when he toke us home and told what we did it was  like a betting fest dad and uncle guy lit into us for what seamed to be a life time i dident think they would ever stop good thing they got tired i could not set on my back side for months i was that cop would have taken me in for a year or 2 lol and uncle made us work all summer to pay for every peace of glass we broke
