Jeremy was born on January 13, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan, to Susan and Diamond France. Known to many as “Jer Bear,” Jeremy lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and a deep devotion to the people he loved. Though soft spoken, he had a warm presence and a subtle sense of humor that brought comfort and laughter to those around him.
Jeremy proudly served as a police officer with the Roseville Police Department for 13 years, where he dedicated himself to protecting and serving his community. His career reflected his character: steadfast, compassionate, and committed to doing what was right.
Outside of work, Jeremy found joy in the outdoors and in the simple, meaningful moments of life. He loved golfing, bowling, and especially cherished time spent at deer camp alongside his brother, uncles, and cousins. Those traditions and shared experiences were not just hobbies, they were the fabric of his connection to family.
Family was everything to Jeremy. He was preceded in death by his father and his beloved brother, Brandon, whose loss he carried heavily. Though he faced that grief quietly, his love for his family never wavered. He leaves behind his devoted mother, Susan, along with a large and loving extended family and many friends who were, in every sense, family to him.
Jeremy’s legacy is one of service, laughter, and deep, abiding love. He will be remembered not only for his service and caring nature, but for how he made people feel: supported, valued, and never alone.
Visitation will be held on April 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, a deposit box will be available at the service for those who wish to contribute.
Jeremy will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.
