John W. "Bill" Jones, 92, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Church of Christ Assisted Living in Clinton Township after a relatively short illness. Bill was born on May 8, 1920 to Clarence and Lillian (nee: Riley) Jones. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a retired automotive worker with Chrysler Corporation. Bill was married to Margie Lee (nee: Council) who preceded him in death on September 22, 2005. Bill's special niece Nancy Combs survives along with many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home - 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, Michigan 48066. Visitation continues on Monday, January 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral, 11:00 a.m. at Roseville Church of Christ - 17415 East Eleven Mile Road (which is the Westbound I-696 Service Drive-West of Gratiot Avenue) Roseville, Michigan 48066. Interment will be next to his beloved Margie in Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
