Hey Mom...rest in peace.....you were one of the best persons I ever had the pleasure to meet and get to know......One tough bird....always in our hearts lady......God has an awesome teacher now.......

     Her name fit her perfectly!  She was the most happy, sweet, caring, loving and human I knew. No one compares to her, her smile or the joy in her eyes!! I was heartbroken when I heard the news. Speaking with my mom she mentioned that she is finally with her husband. Of how she would speak of him often. That she also spoke of when she would finally be with the love of her life again with tears that would mist her eyes....She spoke highly of him, shoot the campground even seen her love for him, he was a great man and DSC created the Dick Dobbs Award for youth archery!! In his honor and to keep his spirit forever alive!  It's sad it was her time but I like to hope and think she was not only ready but happy to be with Dick again. I hope they're having the best of times and enjoying each other's love and company again after so many years she had to live without him. Although he was with her and watching over her every day that he wasn't able to be with her on earth! I only hope to be as happy and have as much joy, enthusiasm and love for everyone that she has met and influenced throughout her time here! You are extremely loved and missed Joy! Thank you for being you and for spreading such happiness to sooo many souls that were lucky enough to of met you, even if it was momentarily for some. I think of you often and that will never change  I love you!!

This is So sad!!  Joy was one of the sweetest people I have known!  Always smiling and her laugh was absolutely contagious!!!  Like another mother for us Danaher’s growing up, next door neighbor for many many years at DSC campgrounds…Many wonderful memories of her, Dick and Jimmy.  The Dobbs family was family!  Her passing was exactly 1 year after my mom, April 26th.  Our thoughts and prayers for the Dobbs family & everyone who was blessed to have known her!!!  

Joy you were my second Mom. There wasn't anything that I wouldn't do to help you and Dad. I spent countless hours at your lot and helping you at home as well. I have so many memories from my childhood that I will always cherish. You were kind to everyone that you came in contact with. My condolences to all. Mom you'll be missed beyond measure. Grandma Joy, I have loved you my whole life. You where a second grandmother to me. I'll forever cherish the memories we made together. Playing in your yard with Cody, and all the brave little toaster movies you would watch with us. All those hotdogs you would feed the entire campground..You never got tired of it. You where always there when I needed to talk to someone, and always had the best advice for me. I hope your watching down over us all, and sitting with my grandparents waiting for us. I will miss you forever. And until we meet again, I love you always.
