

Leonard E. “Lenny” Robinson, was born on June 9, 1934 in Royal Oak Michigan to John & Thelma (nee: Osbourne) Robinson. He passed away in Warren, Michigan on Nov. 14, 2014. Mr. Robinson attended Hazel Park High School and answered his country’s call enlisting in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Returning from service, Lenny started work with Michigan Bell and was a “Pioneer”. He retired after 42 years of service as a splicing technician and “O-niner”. His hobbies included playing poker with his friends at Park Place, reading and watching anything on the History and Discovery Channels. He loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his wife of 57 years, unconditionally.
Surviving is his beloved wife Marlene F. (nee: Kaminski); children, Mark Robinson, Penny Pena, and Kevin (Kristy Upper) Robinson. Also survived by grandchildren, Christopher (Jamie Jenkins) Robinson, Erica Pena and Lauren Upper, six great-grandchildren: Wayne, Brooke, Nevaeh, Destenee, Blake and new baby Brian; two sisters, Jackie (Eugene) Renshaw, Donna (Ronnie) Ziegler. Special thanks to Dennis and MaryAnn Kaminski and also in-laws: Tommy (Sue) Kaminski, Kenny (Debbie) Kaminski, Diane (Ron) Dlugokenski, Cheryl (Mark) Stiller and Cathy Kaminski and the late James Kaminski.
