Luke Wilson

Luke Wilson, age 90, passed away July 26, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Ruby Wilson. Mr. Wilson is predeceased by brothers, Jack Wilson & wife Maude; Billy L. Wilson & wife Sylvia; his sisters, Eloise Carter & husband Bill and Gladys Tweed & husband, Jim, and nephew Steve. He is survived by nieces, Judy (the late Bill) Starnes of Jonesborough, TN., Sharon (Cotton) Jones of Johnson City, TN., and Ann Carter Cunningham, nephews, W.J. Carter, Jr., and Billy Lynn Wilson. He is also survived by beloved friends, Dan and Beverly Mayo. Dan was considered a "son" to both Luke and Ruby since he was a child and whom they loved until the end of his life. During Mr. Wilson's illness, he was taken care of by very special friend and loving caregiver, Cathy Wedyke and caregivers, Donna Smith, Ruthie Johnson, Arnetta Hayes, and caring, kind “next door and across the street" neighbors who provided meals and other kinds of support during his life, especially after the passing of his wife...all of whom he and the family appreciated sincerely. Friends will be received on Monday, July 30 from 2pm to 3pm with the Funeral Service to begin at 3pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave. Roseville. The Rev. Mickey Nardin will officiate.
