Even though Marc was a first cousin I always felt like he was another brother to me. Growing up my family would travel to Michigan every summer and during that time Marc and I were inseparable doing just about everything together going shooting with Papa Jack, playing sports, playing games, listening to music, swimming at Grandma Judy's pool, enjoying slurpees and candy from 7-11, anything really which those memories I cherish forever. Marc had an infectious smile, such an easy going demeanor, incredibly genuine to everyone he came into contact with and blessed with a big heart which he shared with his loved ones and friends. I will miss him greatly and will never lose sight of what he embodied which is to always show love. 

Marc always spoke so highly of his sister Erin.  He also absolutely loved his daughter in every way.   When I would see him, he would spend time just talking about life, cooking in particular.  He always left with a smile and a hug.   The day you passed away, I saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky.  Please continue to send your smile to us through the bright stars and hugs from Heaven through rainbows.  Rest in peace.

Not really sure where to begin... As others have said, I will definitely always remember his laugh. I can hear it clear as day in my head. He loved to have fun and he had a great sense of humor. I already know that he passed those traits on to our daughter. Along with his sweet dance moves. Marlee does this kick thing that makes me think of him every time! Some of my favorite memories include lots of fun, crazy times in East Lansing with Erin and definitely traveling to Lollapalooza in Chicago. I'll never forget the day I told him I was pregnant. I had been waiting for him to get home from work forever. He looked so tired and was in a bad mood. I told him and he had the biggest smile creep up on his face. God he was so happy. He even took all the baby classes with me through Sparrow- he was so excited to be a dad. Countless hours of taking turns dancing to Lumineers and Fun trying to get Marlee to finally fall asleep every single night. I remember Marlee's first steps were in the living room in the apartment in Haslett..she was just walking back and forth between us. She was so proud and we were super giddy about it. I remember him bringing pizzas home almost every night for dinner.. always different concoctions that he made up at work.  No matter how things changed between us, he always made sure to tell me how much he appreciated me as Marlee's mom.  He had a big heart. I'll make sure she always knows how much he loved her. 

Marc was one of my best friends growing up. And still to this day he still has a special place in my heart. So many great memories. A lot of them on the soccer field. One of my best memories was his signature soccer move , step over turn then a nutmeg between the legs. Marc will truly be missed by so many. Rest In Peace 

I first met Marc at Old Chicago Southgate, he was a line cook at the time and I was a server. Our first shift of work together, I instantly knew how good of a guy he was. He was always humble and honest, and hardworking. I opened my home to him with open arms, and I’ll always cherish the memories we made. He and I went through a lot together, but we made sure to laugh all of our troubles away. I’ll never forget the spa day we had with his family, and the amount of love I saw he had for his daughter. He will live on through all of us, but in a tremendous way through her especially.

I will always remember Marc’s  infectious laugh and smile and his ability to make people feel welcome and cared for.  I Am so thankful for all the good times and memories  we got to make and share raising our girls, and I am sad for the ones he will miss.  I am thankful that he and I became family but he was  also a great friend to me. I will always cherish the closeness that you and Maddie had when she was younger and life was simpler. You really lived down your worlds BEST uncle T -shirt! You will forever be in my heart, Love you little  Bro  

Some favorite memories of Marc are:  when he was a server at a nice restaurant in Randolph, NJ he took Spenser under his wing at a critical time in Spenser’s life and helped him get a job as a busboy. He was a very loving cousin to Alex and Spenser.
When they were 12, Alex and Marc went to camp and Marc won 2 awards—best athlete and friendliest. Because he was so soft spoken and polite, he didn’t gloat or make a big deal of it but he was  pleased.

Teri, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Marc.  Please know my thoughts are with you and your family.  I got a chance to catch up with Tom and he was sharing all of the special memories of Marc.

Marc and I were best friends growing up. Playing soccer, jumping on the trampoline. Through 6th grade we were inseperable. While we lost touch in recent years I always hoped we'd reconnect someday. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Terri and Erin. 

Jumping on the trampoline or going to Larrys after the 3v3 tournament will always be my childhood. 

Teri..I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful son Marc.  My heart is heavy with the unfairness of this world.   Stay strong and keep the wonderful memories close to your heart.. Love your cousin...Connie
