Margaret Ruth Moffat, age 61, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 after fighting the hardest battle of her life against breast cancer. Daughter of the late Robert A. and Grace B. Moffat; beloved sister to Robert (Barbara Williams) Moffat and the late Russell Moffat; dear aunt to Laurel Moffat, Lesley Moffat, and Dakota Williams. She is also survived by her cat Junior. She was a Finney High School graduate, class of 1973 and worked as a paralegal for 20 years. Margaret LOVED to rescue animals. She was passionate about genealogy, the Red Wings, and Michigan State. She enjoyed playing organized softball, the outdoors, going camping, vacationing with friends, reading, knitting and gardening. Margaret was a classic movie fan and was fascinated by the Victorian Era. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Purple Heart or the Michigan Humane Society.
