Margaret Ann Scavone has been a resident of Fraser for 40 years died Thursday, February 23, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur and her granddaughter Jennifer Scavone, her parents George and Rose Laura and all of her 9 siblings. She is survived by her children Arthur Scavone, Mary Joan Scavone, Suzanne (Larry) White, Barbara (Tony) Junga, Karen (Jim) Emmendorfer and James Scavone (Cora). Also surviving her are her 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Margaret spent most of her young years being a devoted homemaker and mother of her 6 children. She went on to go to school to become an Optician and a Myomassologist. She also worked for United Health Organization as a Technician for many years. She enjoyed her work as a secretary for Sacred Heart Parish in Roseville and later at St Anne’s Parish in Warren. Margaret was an avid Bridge player and puzzle solver. She loved her faith and lived it till the end.
Margaret will lie in state at 10:30am and Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am at St Pio Catholic Church 18720 – 13 Mile Rd Roseville with Father Craig Marion officiating.
