Maria Finn cared for me often as a child, feeding me and my sister, Tiffany,  the most incredible PB&J sandwich’s  (she added butter and retoasted in the oven after assembling).   It was, and might still BE the best thing I ever tasted!  She’d ask if we were hungry everytime us waifs wondered over….which was often! 
She was so generous and sweet to us over on Courville Street.  Even as a young  child I admired her and Tom’s solid relationship and cool, kind way.   The  Finn house was always open and loving and It meant so much to me as a kid.  
RIP kind woman.  Thank you for creating  a caring community, wherever you are, by just being yourself.  

My deepest and dearest sympathy to her children, grandchildren and entire family.  
She was a beautiful matriarch and I know she’ll be missed deeply by all she cared for.

My beautiful sister in law Maria always enjoyed my antique cabinets so I have given in her honor to her daughter Kim a memorial vase to keep in the family. God Bless Maria in heaven. Love Priscilla Finn

Dear Maria,
I recall when you first came from Singapore in 1970. It took a while for you to come across from Canada to the USA. I remember when you went from the Phillip house, to the Courville house, to the Roseville House. In all three of these locations, I stopped by during work and raided your refrigerator. Thanks for the meals, the conversation; and is there BINGO in Heaven?
