Marie was a loving mom, Mimi, and sister. She was an avid gardener; and enjoyed her fresh home-grown vegetables. Marie loved to spend time with her grandchildren- they often went to the beach; she watched all her grandson's baseball games and supported her granddaughter's Girl Scout Cookie sales. She often socialized and the arcade- and excelled at the crane game. Marie never went anywhere without running into someone she knew. She will be greatly missed.
Marie is survived by her children, Angela (Derek) Murdock, Derek Brooks; her grandchildren, Dominic, Zoe; siblings, Vincent (the late Sue) Carducci, Frances (Carl) Earley and Louis Carducci; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Richard Brooks.
A visitation for Marie will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:30 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2025 from 11:00 am at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
