A bunch of years ago, an Angel from Bay City was introduced into the Gottschling family... Thank God! She was smart, with a good spirit and great heart. She raised two children with the same ethics and temperament. My Aunt Mary watched over us--neighborhood and family kids, including me, as we grew up, making us better people.

I have great memories--union parties, upper peninsula deer hunting, wild Christmas parties, and the time she drove up to Lake Orion to rescue Steve and me from a long bicycle ride. I don't think we would have made it back otherwise. The list is long...

Aunt Mary hasn't gone away from me...she is embedded in my heart forever.

So sorry for your loss. Thinking about Aunt Mary, and the time we spent at her home when we were kids, and at the cabin. I’ll always remember her laugh. She had a great laugh. - Dick
