Matthew Bert Edwin Hammond

Matthew was a man of diverse passions, finding magic both in the pages of fiction and the real world around him. An avid fan of Dungeons & Dragons. His love for stories extended well beyond the gaming table; he was a passionate consumer of books and movies. Music was the continuous soundtrack to his life, anchoring his days with rhythm and melody. Among his favorite places to visit was Frankenmuth. Closer to home, a perfect evening for Matthew often included enjoying a great meal and good company at Miyoshi Sushi. He leaves behind a legacy of epic quests, beautiful music, and cherished memories.

Beloved husband of Nicole Hammond for 16 years. Dearest brother of Tammi Hammond and David (Teri) Hammond. Proud uncle of Michaela Nagy, Adriana Hammond, Larissa Hammond and DJ Hammond and great-nephews Sylus and Jeyx. Matthew will also be missed by his dog, Artemis and his cats Billy, Jean and Raya. A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at a later date.
