Loving mother of Melinda (Joshua Vanatta) Richardson. Proud grandmother Gavyn, Viktor, Vincent and Vance. Dearest sister of Christopher (Beth) Coleman and the late Brandon Coleman. Missy is survived by her longtime boyfriend and caretaker Rob Haywood. Missy was predeceased by her mother, Irene. Missy also leaves behind her beloved bird Sunny and cat Sweet Pea.

Missy found enjoyment in playing video games and immersing herself in heavy metal music, frequenting many concerts during her lifetime. She was also very fond of dragons, fantasy, sci-fi, and horror genres. She was a dedicated fan of the Detroit Red Wings hockey team and Detroit Tigers baseball team. The fall and winter holidays held a special place in her heart, with Halloween being one of her favorites. She enjoyed family get-togethers and putting passion into these occasions with her Mother, making unique treats and dishes that everyone enjoyed.
