Mildred was a United States Navy veteran. She was a world traveler. She was a proud teacher for the Roseville School District, working at Dort Elementary. Mildred was an avid golfer, she and her husband golfed in 36 states. She was the founder of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of the late Katherine “Kathy” Kelly. Dearest sister of Audrey Ratzlaff of Burnsville, MN. Loving aunt to niece and her “everything” Laura Stephens. She will be remembered to her Minnesota family as “Aunt Min”. She is also survived by many Bunnell and Kelly nieces, nephews and cousins. Mildred was predeceased by her siblings Arnold Bunnell, Wallace Bunnell, Robert Bunnell and Beverly Sorensen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Council of the Blind.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3PM until 8PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, MI 48066. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at the funeral home.
