Philipp E. Luft, 80, formerly of East Detroit, passed away peacefully on Friday Sept. 9, 2011. Philipp was a retired inspector for Cross Company and Atlas Tool. Mr. Luft is survived by sons, Wolfgang (Yvonne) Luft and Thomas (Holley) Luft; daughter, Peggy Luft; grandchildren, Stacey (Joe) Booza, Whitney (Jordan) Mannering, Alison & Bradly Luft; great-grandchildren, Zane Booza, Lily and Violet Mannering; and sister, Ilse Gesser. Mr. Luft was pre-deceased by his wife, Magdalene. (June 3, 2006) Friends may visit Tuesday 2:30 p.m. until time of service 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township.
