Rick was born to parents to Richard John and Mary Rose (née Stark) DeKlerk on January 13, 1970 in Mount Clemens, MI.
Rick was a lover of heavy metal music and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Workouts at the gym were his passion; they were "therapy" to him. He played hard, worked hard, loved hard, and especially fought hard. He never quit trying! This was Rick.
Rick will be remembered by his siblings, Steven (Sheila) de Klerk, Christine (Russ) May, and Kathryn (Tom Asmar) DeKlerk-Foote, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. and Mary DeKlerk, and his sister, Lisa DeKlerk.
