My sympathy goes out to the family. Richie was such a helpful person. When you needed him for something he would be there and if he couldn't be he would always be sure to let you know. He helped me with plumbing throughout the years. Always did such a fine job. Such a sweetheart and fun to be around. Sleep well young man. Love Aunt Nancy

There is an empty feeling in so many peoples lives now that you are gone. I absolutely know without a doubt that my wife and daughter adored you. On many Friday evenings when I would come home, Brenda would say Kristie and I are going fishing with Rich tomorrow. When they would come back home, I would ask them, did you guys catch any fish? Most of the time if not all of the time their answer was no. There was never a look of disappointment in their eyes when no fish were caught. But what I could see in their eyes was expressions of joy that spending time with you brought to them. Even before  you left this world, I would often look at the picture of you standing on the end of the dock and looking out over the water. I said to myself, I don’t think that a million words can describe the thoughts that he is processing in his mind. At that very moment when I took the picture, I could only think of one word to describe the way you looked,  and that word is peaceful. Even though your physical presence is no longer here, the love that you had for others and the love that they had for you will always remain in the deepest part of their heart and soul. A million words cannot describe how I am feeling right, now  but I will start with these 5 words, THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME. 
 

Rich, I'm gonna miss you bud. We shared some great memories. I'm hoping the Lions and Tigers will soon make us proud as you look down at them from above. RIP my friend.
