Robert was known to many as “Rob,” and he will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection. A devoted and faithful man, Rob carried himself with a steady kindness and a sincere care for others. He worked hard for what he built, and those who knew him best saw not only his determination, but also the generous heart behind it.
Rob took pride in what he called good lawn care. He was the owner and operator of his own lawn care business, and he brought both skill and diligence to his work. He knew a little about a lot, and he was never one to shy away from what needed to be done. Lawn care was where he truly excelled, with automotive a close second; if a challenge arose, Rob was the kind of person who would meet it head-on—often with “Google” as his trusted companion along the way.
Outside of work, Rob found meaning in the quiet places. He loved fishing and introduced his children to it at young ages, sharing time and patience along the water. He especially treasured the peacefulness of his favorite spot on Lake St. Clair. Motorcycles offered him a release of energy and the solitude of the ride. He also enjoyed walking—sometimes for miles—simply to think, reflecting a spirit that was both adventurous and thoughtful.
Rob’s willingness to step forward for others showed in the moments that mattered. He was excited to officiate his childhood friend’s wedding, and later, he carried the heavy honor of officiating their mother’s passing—standing with others in both joy and grief, with sincerity and care.
Rob was a loving son to Robert S Price and Cindy (Cliff) Kemp. He is survived by his children Anna (Son-In-Law Marcelo Vasquez) Price, Cory Price, Nicholas Price, Lilly Price, and Adeline Little-Price. He was brother to Terri Price, Matthew (Lindsey) Price, and Michael H (Lorena) Kemp. He was uncle to Michael A and Matthew Kemp, and Emerson Price. He was a cherished grandson to Gary and Elizabeth Drumheller, Michael S Kemp and Betty Moskal, and the late Bob and Loretta Grau.
