Russ Vorpagel, age 73, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016. Beloved husband of 51 years to Marie Ann; loving father to Thomas (Suzan) Vorpagel, Mark (Julie) Vorpagel, and Lisa Vorpagel; dear grandpa to Samantha Trombley, Alyssa (Nathan) Young, Tori (Randy) Maxey, Tyler Vorpagel, Kayla Vorpagel, Danielle Burdi, Nicklas Vorpagel, and Cameron Walton; great-grandpa to Hayden Young and Dillon Young; and brother to John (Claudia) Vorpagel. Russ served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He worked as a bridgeport operator at Modco Tools until he retired. He was a car guy. He had a '57 Chevy and was known all over the Eastside and Woodward because of that car. He never missed a car cruise.
Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville, MI. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
