Sally Marie Houle

Sally M. Houle, age 86, of Shelby Township, passed away January 2, 2022. Sally attended Sacred Heart School and Church. She graduated in 1953 from St. Mary’s School. Sally was married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, listening to music, especially guitar, and lounging at her favorite lake, Sugarloaf Lake located in Chelsea. She loved chocolate and banana splits and teddy bears. Most of all Sally loved her family and showed them by always making sure to give them tokens of her love whenever they visited her with a snack or candy. Loving mother of Mary Catherine (the late Michael) Brandt, Ronald Christopher (Loretta) Houle, Rene (Cindy) Houle and Ronda (the late Robert) Wiegand. Proud grandmother of David A. Halme, Douglas P. Halme Jr., Brent Houle, Brian Houle, Amy Beach, Amanda Semkiw, Rebecca Wiegand, Rachel Lahman and great-grandmother of Marissa, Elizabeth, Victoria, Halee, Payton, Kendall, Morgan, Alayna, Brielle, Grayson, Connor, Hadley, Blake and Charlotte. She leaves her dear sister, Marjorie Quinn and many nieces and nephews Sally was predeceased by the father of her children, Lorenzo Ronald Houle; her parents, Cyrus and Mary Chauvin; her brothers Cyrus Chauvin, Howard Chauvin, Lloyd Chauvin and Robert Chauvin. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10am until time of funeral service at 12pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville.
