You and Harold were so much fun.  My mom and dad loved being with you and sharing stories, jokes and anything else that kept us laughing.  Rest in peace 

I would tell Shirley that she was my old lady role model.  She would smile.
This was an amazing lady that I am blessed to have known even for the short time of a few years.  She is a woman of great strength and grace.   
She was proud of her family and loved them deeply.   She will be missed because she was a great lady.   But smile when you think of her as she always saw the good.

I was so blessed to have Shirley as my Godmother and cousin. She set such a wonderful example for all of us. I spent time at Shirley's as a child in the summer spending time with Her and Her precious babies, I went to help with Her little ones and probably  was as much a burden as a help although She never made me feel like that.  I also remember no matter how full Her life was  She always found time to rock Her babies.                                                                                                                     As a teenager they made me a dress out of a potato sack as a gift when sack dresses or sometimes called chemise were in style.  As adults we would go to Harolds and Shirley's to play cards they always made Dennis(my husband) a copacola sandwich for our journey home since they lived on the East side  and us on the West it was always a kind of humor between us.                                                                                                                                                                                                               I have so many wonderful memories of Shirley She was a blessing in all of our lives.   I am sure Her children and grandchildren will miss her terribly but take comfort that She is happy in heaven with Jesus, Harold, Bill, Jim and the rest of Her family that will greet Her with open arms.  I love You dear sweet Shirley

Shirley Shaw was one of the sweetesr people I know. Her family and my family have been intermingled for nearly  50 years.  No matter how long it had been since I saw her, she was always glad to see me and so gracious. I will miss her.

I will miss my Aunt Shirley. Even with all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she still loved to see me and talk to me as well.  She was always so supportive of my crafting and often bought things for gifts. Im going to miss her hugs!! Prayers for all who Loved her

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Harold Shaw; son-in-law Marty; parents Harold &amp; Helen Barbret and sons Bill &amp; Jim Shaw.
