It is with great sadness that the family of Timothy (Tim) James Reid announced his passing on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the age of 76 in Macomb, MI after battling cancer for 1 ½ years.

Tim was born on September 25, 1946, to James and Marilyn in Detroit MI. In 1966 married Barbara and remained so for the rest of his life.

Through the years Tim enjoyed fishing, boating and woodwork. After retiring from Chrysler Tim pursued warm winters in Florida enjoying friends, family beaches and more. He was also known as the life of the party with his stories and sense of humor.

Tim was preceded in death by both his parents and stepfather Alfred Brunas. Survived by his wife and 2 children: Janice Nahtygal (Matthew) and James Reid (Marti) as well as 4 grandchildren: Cody Reid, Nicole Nahtygal, Alex Reid and Nicholas Nahtygal. He is also survived by 2 sisters Patricia Walgenbach (Alfred) and Jeri Rouleau (Ron) and his brother Michael Reid (Doreen).

A “Celebration of Life” will be held in June 2023. Family and friends will be invited to come and share fond memories and stories.
