He grew up in Clearwater, Fl and Acworth, GA where he never met a stranger. A gentle giant, always the first to help and stand up for what was right. Loved and cherished his family and friends more than anything.
Aki was preceded in death by his grandparents Konstandino and Konstandina (nee Kartsonis) Tzortzis; Petros and Fotini (née Delfakis) Papantoniou, his cousin Spiro Douvris, uncle Kosta Papantoniou and uncle Angelo Douvris.
Aki is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Peter and Sophia (nee Papantoniou) Tzortzis and big sister Konstantina Tzortzis. Loved by all his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Friends and family will gather at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076 from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday February 12, 2023 with a Trisagion service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 13, 2023 at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 3431 Trickum Rd, Marietta, GA 30066.
