Agostina Rose Sparacia, loving mother, grandmother, and spouse, passed away peacefully surrounded by love in her comfortable home in Roswell the morning of June 11, 2018 after her long battle with cancer. Tina was born on October 2, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to Paul & Mary Bertuglia, immigrants who settled in US from Sicily in the early 1900’s. She had a brother, Anthony Bertuglia, a school teacher of 50+ years who was laid to rest in 2017.

Tina was a beautiful, warmhearted, loving, optimistic and radiant woman. She was always there for anyone who needed her and she opened her home and heart to all. Tina brightened any room with her positive energy and passion for life. She was also a wonderful mother and raised two children who adored her. She was proud of her Italian heritage and culture and she embraced it everyday through music, food, family & friends and was most happy when she was in Italy under the Tuscan sun. She was a woman of God and found great strength and peace through the Catholic church which she attended almost every weekend.

She is survived by her soul-mate of 25 years, Warren Witherington, her daughter Geri Bove, her son-in-law Antonello Bove, her granddaughters Eden and Liv Semel, her son Vince Sparacia, her daugher-in-law Lisa Sparacia, and grandson Nicolas Sparacia, as well as many other adoring family members, including Nina and Charlie Procaccini, her sister and brother-in-law of 60 years.

For those family and friends whose lives were touched by knowing Tina, you are invited to join us at Roswell Funeral home on Saturday, June 16, 2018 to reminisce in a celebration of her wonderful life. Visitation is from 11:00 to 12:00 followed by a Celebration of Life in the chapel.

Tina will be tremendously missed and remembered forever.

Tina was the epitome of why beautiful cliches were created. Because “To know her was to truly love her”... She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside... What a wonderful woman that we shared so many wonderful times and memories with. Everyone that got to have her in their lives at any level was so blessed. We can’t remember ever being in her company that she wasn’t lighting up the room with her big smile. She was so loved and will be so very much missed for the lucky ones that got to know her. And to all those people, all our deepest sympathies, love and prayers are with you... To Geri and Vince, you have a special angel looking out for you and your families for the rest of your Journeys...
All our love always...
