Mrs. Anne Weaver Olson

Mrs. Anne Weaver Olson, 85, of Canton, GA and Daytona Beach Shores, FL, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2012. She was born in Birmingham, AL, on January 3, 1927, to Anne and Edwin Weaver. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anne gave up a promising professional singing career to be a wife and mother, and was a sought after soloist for many Christian events through the years. Anne was a champion of the truth in all circumstances.

Anne was preceded in death in 1961 by daughter, Wendy Weaver Olson, age 19 months. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, A. W. "Bud" Olson; children, Shery Olson Marden, Mary Jo Olson McDaniel and Charles A. Olson; grandchildren, Krista Madill Wall, Jessie Reagin Rodgers, Wendy Madill, Sarah Marden and foster grandson Paul Weinstock; great grandchildren, Sylvi and Samuel Rodgers, Ethan and Isabella Wall. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 P.M., Friday, June 8th, at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. Memorial contributions may be made to Angel Flight, 2000 Airport Rd. Suite 227, Chamblee GA 30341; Sixes Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 2335 Sixes Road, Canton GA 30114; or the charity of your choice. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
