Chief Aubrey Eugene Reeves, 91 of Roswell died on January 19, 2011 at his residence. Chief Reeves was preceded in death by his wife Margie Womack Reeves, a daughter Sharon Medley and his brother Doris Reeves. Chief Reeves retired in 1983 with 38 years of service to the city of Roswell and Was Fire Chief for 25 years in 2008; Chief Reeves was honored by having Fire Station 1 being dedicated to him, He was a Army Veteran, Rotarian and a member of First Baptist Church of Roswell. Surviving are his Son and Daughter in law, Chris and Sandy Reeves, his daughter and son in law, Debbie and Chris Henson, all of Woodstock, grandchildren, Cindy and Steve Hardy, and Crystal Prince, one great grandson Gavin Prince. Services to celebrate the life of Chief Reeves will Full Fireman Honors will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church of Roswell With Dr. Ron Bradley , Rev. Malone Dodson and Father Peter Rau officiating. Interment will be at Old Roswell cemetery. The family will receive friends at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 Pm and 6:00 to 8:00 PM
