Austin’s story began long before entering into the lives of his loving parents; Ryan and Julia initially met while attending the University of South Dakota. What started as a blind date set up by friends, turned into a match made in heaven. After that one date, both Ryan and Julia knew that they had found their forever within each other. The couple married and continued their lives together relocating numerous times and ultimately to Roswell, Georgia.
Ryan and Julia were mindful of wanting less furry children and after careful planning, they were pregnant. They could not have been happier and even their furbabies, Buddy and Kiki, seemed to be excited. After their first trimester with Austin, the couple proudly shared the good news to the rest of the family and Austin instantly brought joy to so many hearts.
Austin’s naming journey involved a lot of jokes including laughing about how he didn’t stand a chance because of his parents’ faults or that his name would most appropriately be Buddy Jr. after the family simpleton, Buddy the Goldendoodle. More seriously, Ryan was given the task of narrowing down decisions for the both of them to consider. It almost became impossible to decide. Tragically, he passed before the family was prepared to let him go, but upon seeing his beautiful face, his full head of hair, large forehead like his mom, small chin like his dad and his tiny little fingers and toes, mom and dad both knew and agreed: he was Austin Ryan Georgoff.
Austin’s life was brief, but no less meaningful. He meant quite a lot: images of him mastering jiu jitsu with dad, thoughts of him boating and fishing at the lake as a family and hope for a better tomorrow. He brought more love into the world and most importantly to his family.
Austin is survived by his father, Ryan Georgoff; mother, Julia Prather Georgoff; grandparents, Denise Foster, Mark Prather and Jane Prather; great-grandparents, “Grandma Anna” and granpa Jerry; uncles, Paul Georgoff (Victoria), Luke Prather (Amber Rasche) and Ben Prather (Jessica Bonjtes); aunts, Kate Prather (José Endura) and Shannon Prather (Kevin Clemen); cousins, Greyson, Keegan, Jackson, Tristan, Ella, Noah, Autumn, Zack and August and also his furry siblings, Buddy and Kiki.
